Static Observation No. 1
While looking at the objects, I observed the following:
Accordion
Feather
gold 'ball' type object
puzzle case (said "Smuzzle")
Red rectangular case in middle of the table
blue and green ball
white tea cup and saucer with images on them
Tall orange and yellow structure
Book- King of Infinite_______
blocks
robots
white and red puzzle
In looking at the list of things that I remembered, I tried to consider how all the pieces fit together. For example, I noticed the blocks and the robots because they both seemed to be made out of wood. The book stood out to be because it was the tallest object that I could put a name to. While I believe the 'yellow and orange structure' was taller, I couldn't put a name to it and therefore became frustrated while looking at it. Likewise, there were some objects that I could not fully view and therefore was not able to attach a significance to it in the overall larger context. If I was able to manipulate the items, I would have wanted to stack them from largest at the bottom to the smallest at the top, or to create small scenes out of similar objects.
