Love the muppets! My kids and I used to watch that very song...never thought about it in a philosophical way until you presented it to us on your blog!
This week's readings seemed to me to be about the choice we make in research methodologies. Qualitative methodologies that I read about filled me at times with more confusion and questions than I had when I started reading the paper...maybe that is the idea to confound us into understanding. Your paper states that we need to be aware of our own personal experiences or biases in doing research...that is not always an easy task for us...but again it is an undertaking we must strive for. I also think the idea of having only 10 people in a research project certainly is in contrast to the idea of quantitative research.
I certainly can see how this approach may be appealing to an arts-directed person. I do enjoy reading your responses to the readings. Now that I have received the benefit of your blogging short-cut< I am enjoying the process of blogging much more. Many thanks. Cheers, Jennette
